Soup back on the menu as squash harvested

Our penultimate harvest of the year has taken place and these butternut squash are safely in storage. Apart from soup, we can see a lot of vegetable curries looming! Now we just have some late potatoes to lift and that will be that until next year. Our no-dig beds will get a covering of cardboard, hay and horse muck and the mulching mats will go down.
