It's an unlikely tourism magnet but the lonely phone box on the mountain road out of Tregaron has become a strong draw for visitors. Having your picture taken at this bleak moorland outpost is almost a must-do when you visit the Cambrian Mountains. This group of old friends staying at Orchid Meadows made sure they added it to their itinerary. In fact, it was the first thing they did before searching for red squirrels and pine martens in the forest and enjoying coast path walking in the sunshine.
