Orchid Meadows guests enjoy rare summer's day in February

Writer's picture: Steve and LynnSteve and Lynn

Yesterday, a day after squalls of heavy rain, a warm and sunny February Saturday came out of the blue. These Orchid Meadows guests made the most of it by heading for the coast, gorging on gigantic portions of fish and chips from the celebrated Lime and Crab in New Quay and then working it all off on a walk along the stunning coast path. This shows them at an old coastguard lookout perched high above Cardigan Bay, from where the happy hikers could watch the dolphin-spotting boats out in force. Sadly, the sunshine also soon had its chips. A day later and the squalls of heavy rain returned, determined to make up for their day off. Roll on summer!
