We are not the only ones to notice the days are getting longer. Our three hens - Katy, Jackie and Sara - have brightened up and are reacting to increasing spells of sunshine. Katy and Sara are busy laying eggs in the henhouse most mornings (Jackie has long since decided that laying eggs is so-last-year), before they scamper off to their enclosure for the rest of the day to peck at the ground in search of anything that moves. This picture shows the wayward Jackie - unproductive, putting on weight but still our favourite!
