As warm sunny days become more frequent, the urge is to get out and explore the countryside. We recently enjoyed a lovely walk along the coast path, taking in a bit of everything from high cliff-tops to beaches, and returning to our starting point along a pleasant riverside footpath. Nature was out in force too. We saw the usual red kites and buzzards but also choughs, wheatears, a sparrowhawk, a stonechat, a sandpiper and a very tuneful skylark. The view here is just south of Aberystwyth and you can be walking just 30 minutes after you've left Orchid Meadows.
