Our first butterfly orchid is now in full bloom in Evening Meadow. A few weeks and there should be more of them to complement the pinky-purple heath spotted orchids, creating quite a picture. Broad-leaved helleborines, another type of wild orchid, have been spotted coming into leaf in our orchard as well.
