Our retreat welcomes couples, singles, families, multi-generational families and groups of friends and comprises 25 acres of rewilding countryside for you to explore and relax in, or use as a springboard to discover beautiful West Wales.

 

Situated near Tregaron between Cardigan Bay and the Cambrian Mountains, Orchid Meadows is well-placed for exploring the rugged Ceredigion coast, its beaches and the coastal resorts of Llangrannog, New Quay and Aberaeron, as well as for hiking in the hills.

 

Come and stay in romantic Tawny Little House, family-friendly Red Kite Yurt or dog-friendly caravan Goldfinch Glampavan. Enjoy a stroll through our meadows and search for wild orchids to the buzz of insects, rest a while and watch red kites and buzzards soaring overhead and stonechats flitting through the gorse, or watch the sun go down and be lucky enough to see a barn owl gliding through the dusk before the tawny owls strike up their call. Savour the gentle smell of wood smoke and maybe create a barbecue feast. Alternatively, fire up the pizza oven. Finish the day with a glass of wine or a hot drink around the firebowl under dark night skies filled with stars, or even head out to find the Dark Sky Discovery Sites on the Cambrian Mountains Astro Trail!
